Privacy Policy

Effective date: 16 June 2026. This starter policy should be reviewed by a lawyer before public launch.

BarrierCheck collects information needed to provide a pool safety inspection software service for approved pool safety inspectors.

Information we collect

• Account details, including name, email address, sign-in provider and approval status.
• Inspector and company profile details, including licence number, phone number, business name, ABN/ACN, address, logo and report contact details.
• Inspection records, including client/owner details, property addresses, notes, findings, recommendations and evidence photos.
• Billing and subscription details when Stripe billing is implemented.
• Usage, analytics and technical data when analytics tools are connected.

How we use information

We use information to create and save inspections, generate reports, verify account access, provide support, manage subscriptions, improve the service and send product updates or marketing where permitted.

Third-party services

BarrierCheck may use Firebase Authentication, Firestore, Firebase Storage, Google sign-in, Google Analytics, Stripe, email providers and website hosting providers.

Account deletion

Users can request deletion through the app. Deletion is intended to remove the user account, company profile, inspections, evidence photos and stored app data. Some records may be retained where required by law, security, backup, billing or dispute-resolution obligations.
